Cp3 Pump Leaking Again
I took my truck to the dealer this morning. They didn't hassle me at all. I guess the fuel all over the sway bar, tie rod and differential was enough for them to believe it is leaking. They ordered the pump and will call me when it comes in. Now if they just don't break the shroud, radiator and beat the crap out of the truck like they did when last pump was replaced I'll be happy.

From what I have found out through web searches and the actual part from Dodge that is the latest version of the CP3 from Bosch and goes on the newer engines. But so far it is working good on the 305/555. The CP3S is the first four letter/numbers on the sticker on the pump vs. another pump shown on the dodge parts for the 305. Maybe someone else also may know more about this. From what I understand the CP3S version pumps a little more fuel for the higher horsepower ?? I just hope it holds up now.

If the dealer tells you the book is wrong call Chrysler ! However, the truck does have more power and they did put the CP3S version on the 305/555.
