Couple questions

I purchased my 04 1/2 used with about 1900 miles on it. It already had the leveling kit on it. I have had 2 alignments from 2 different places now and both said that I am good to go. But.... My front tires seem to be wearing on the outsides as if my camber (sp?) was not right ? Anyone else with this problem ?
Also wear exactly is the fuel filter and how hard is it to change ?
Someone mentioned having something flashed by the dealer to reset/increase fuel miliage. I have the juice module on my truck and I still get about 14mpg around town. Seems I should be doing better then that ?

Thanks

questions

Ok, maybe I did not include enough info ? I have a 2004.5 Dodge 2500 4x4 ctd. Wondering wear the fuel filter may be and how hard it is to replace ?
Also saw a thread on flashing computer for better fuel economy ? I just wanted some more info on that ? And last question is about the leveling kit. Has anyone experienced any uneven tire wear as a result ? I believe the kit is from Pro-Comp ?
Thanks again

The fuel filter is located on the driver's side engine. You can't miss it. It is a large aluminum canistor with a black plastic top. The black plastic top has a 1 1/8 in nut molded into the plastic cover. You need to unscrew this to get at the filter. The top and filter come out as one piece. You sometimes need to pull a little to get it out but it will come out. Once out, the filter is held onto the top with some plastic barbs. Tilt the filter a little and it will come off of the lid. Use a new o-ring on the lif with a new filter and screw it back onto the filter housing.

Leveling kit I don't know about.

As far as a reflash, I never got any done. The build date on mine is January 2004. I probably never will either. I haven't been back to the delaer since I bought my truck.

Hi, Juiced,

The fuel filter cap, at least on the 2003.5, only needs 300 in-lbs of torgue. If you overdo it, the o-ring will squeeze out of place and fuel will spew out when you do the bump the engine routine, leave the key on but the engine not running, and jump out and look to see what's leaking during the following 25 seconds.

Ask me how I know.
