I have an 06 and noticed a puddle under it today. I plugged the truck in to try and find where the leak was and have a slow but steady drip coming from the front passenger side of the motor. The coolant is dripping off the ac bracket where it bolts to the block.

I've put hands and rags all over the fitting directly above this area where the lower radiator hose mounts and that heater line runs up and it all seems dry.

The only other thing in that area is the water pump but I can't see the weep hole to see if that's the cause.

Any suggestions?

Also as I said the truck is an 06 but only has 50k miles, is that still covered under the engine's 100k warranty or am I out due to age?

 

Yep, it's the water pump. That's exactly where mine was dripping from at about that same exact mileage, 51k for me. It's a pretty easy fix.
