Converting '04 2500 to DRW?

Can I use my stock rear-end or is it too wide? What else is involved?

Thanks,
Nick

its not wide enough, you either need spacers or a dually rearend. arrowcraft.com makes pretty good spacers from what i here.

Thanks for the info. It looks like Arrowcraft makes some good stuff. Would I need front spacers if I were to go with matching rims?

Thanks again,
Nick

i was lookling a while back and arrowcraft also make front spacers but you can find some stock (from drw) front spacers on ebay. the spacers are the only difference on the front axle between srw and drw. i was thinking about trying to use front spacers on the rear for a conversion but the bore in the center hole isnt big enough to go over the rear hub.

Thanks once again. Did you get any prices from Arrowhead? They didn't have any on their website.

So you could just get a dually rear end and bolt it in right? I did this on a 01 before
