Cold idle knock
is it normal for the engine to make a knocking sound as idle and low rpms while it is cold?
it's not the normal cold diesel clatter that I'm used to from the 95 and 98 CTD's I've owned.
sounds like one cylinder knocking.
once it warms up the noise goes away.
