Truck quit yesterday and I got this code.

P0628 Fuel Pump "A" Control Circuit Low

I don't know what this means. Low voltage, low pressure? Which one is fuel pump A?

same thing happened to me 04 2500 died at a stop light. checked for a code and thats what came up. what do I do besides dealer

 

Why do something other than a dealer? Just get it towed and let them handle it. Are you still under warrantee? If so the dealer will install an '05, in tank pump and all will be OK (hopefully).
My lift pump was installed free but two weeks later they started installing the in-tank ones. I wish mine would have lasted a little longer.

I just installed a new lift pump on my 2003 5.9 litre diesel. It toke me about an hour and a half to do. I got the fuel pump at Napa here in Kamloops B.C. cost with tax 342.46 Canadian dollars. Part number E7230. The best part keep your reciept and ithas a lifetime warranty.
