Clutch lifespan

Does anyone know how long a stock factory clutch will last?Have no probs. with mine, was just curios. Truck has 80,450 miles on it. Probably 40,000 of those miles was pulling a 16,000 lb. 5th wheel. And what about U joints..still have original ones, No probs there so far either. Was wondering if I should replace them anyway. Thanks.

Very subjective answer on the clutch, based on how you drive.... I have seen them last 150K miles, and have seen them destroyed in 3-5K miles. So, probably 100K miles seems to be the good average.

Well, I put the flashpaq on my truck when it had 26k on it. At about 31k the clutch started slipping when I was pulling hard up a hill while towing. I will say however, when I stacked the truck, the clutch didnt slip any worse than it did. All in all, i would say that its not really a bad clutch, just doesnt like any more power than stock.

I saw an earlier model with 350k with the original clutch. I plan for mine to last that long.
