Clutch fan not working

My old clutch fan was not working and was told it was bad. I installed a new clutch fan and it does not work. My truck gets hot with out towing. I have a 2003 Dodge 3500 Cummings 5 speed, edge juice attitude, 5" exhaust, AFE air filter. I have new water pump and thermostat. I have a big load I need to tow through the mountains and I don't want to over heat. Does anyone know why the clutch fan is not coming on.

if the clutch fan is new and we assume its good then i see two possible issues. The wiring harness to the clutch fan is bad, cracked or cut wire, corrosion and bad contact in plug?

Or the computer is not telling the fan to turn on, either because its bad or you have a bed temp sensor

I'm having an issue with mine as well. Where is the temp sensor located and is it the same one that drives the gauge? I'm going to swap out the thermostat and this sensor (perhaps the fan clutch) before getting serious.
