Tonight a very weird thing happened. I always start my truck with the clutch engaged (pedal pushed down). Tonight, it would not even turn over. Everything else worked. I made sure I was in neutral too. Once took my foot off the clutch it started right up. I tested it a few times, same thing. Even after driving a few miles. Whats up with that?

I need to take the truck to the deal to fix my HVAC anyway. Computer confused or something?

 

Do you have the power pedals? i have heard of poeple having problems occasionally with the power pedals all the way out (towards the floorboard) and it not tripping the switch. other than that......no idears

 

Standard pedals here. At lunch today, it worked just fine! Tried it twice too. Going home from work, it stopped working again. I have an apointment with the dealer on Monday for this and my HVAC.

 

Turns out it was the clutch switch. The dealer replaced that, under warrenty of course, and fixed my AC. Its nice to have AC...

 

I had the same problem on my 05 so I just put a spacer down there to make the contacts meet and no more problems.
