Clicking sound from front wheel area....
Well, I wondered! I complained nicely to my dealer, who seems to be a really good place and they covered both my front wheel covers under warranty. I am wondering if they've heard of this from others since it was pretty easy to get this taken care of with them. They took care of me when my lift pump died by having my truck hauled about a hundred miles back to them. Chrysler only would pay for a "nearest dealer only" haul.
good luck on the wheel covers. Grease the clips, it will help in the mean time.

Did you check the "gutter" all the way around the wheel where center section is welded to the outer rim? I have noticed mine holds enough water to freeze and throw rims out of balance.... could be debris (gravels) in this groove. Just a thought. Good news is your noise travels with the rim.
36000 mile warranty was up about 8000 miles ago. xbowtie that's a possibility although there's nothing obvious there. I do know that when that wheel is on the right front side that I get a vibration at 70 mph. It goes away with the wheel on any other position. Oh, another thing!!! they left the wheel on the other side of the truck when they were done testing and now it doesn't make any noise!!!!
Maybe I don't need another wheel after all. I'm probably still going to try to find one though......
