Whoa, that's why I always have my keyless remote and another key in my pocket and give anyone servicing my truck just a key.

What do you mean find out who to talk to? Go right back to those clowns and talk to the GM or owner of the dealership. Did you buy the truck from them?

What brown thing? The rusty object on top? That is the driveshaft. The "carrier bearing" is more like a center support for the split shaft. Mine is an actual bearing, that one looks like it is just a rubber bushing from the picture.

All 3500's shudder on take off? You should have that fella's job!

Brown thing is the driveshaft. The carrier bearing(s) support multiple piece driveshafts. Long wheel base Dodge's have a two piece driveshaft.

YES. LWB Dodge's have been doing it since 1989.

Before you go calling people a "dummy" you should check to see if they're right first!

Its not the carrier bearing causing the shuddering. Its U joints. Them rubber dingies rip on about all of them...really doesnt have an effect on shudder.

Well, it goes away when you space the carrier bearing down. The U-joints technically might be causing the shudder but it's directly related to the postioning of the carrier bearing.
