Can you run Ford ATF in our trucks??

Can you run Ford ATF in our trucks??

I work at a ford dealer and have alot of Merc 5 and SP...Is this stuff the same?? What is the differance between these oils???

no! No! NO!

Only use ATF +4 or Dodge will void your warranty. Look for many posts on the subject. Find someone with a Ford for the fluid you can get free (?).

Bad idea chief. That'll get you messed up quick-when they say don't use the wrong fluid in these newer automatics, they mean it. They will void the hell out of your warranty on the transmission at least when (not it) it causes problems.
