I think I have a burnt valve.Had 2 cracked injectors and all six had forienge material in them.Truck had a pop sound at the exhaust was just hoping it was injectors no such luck. Will have to do more checking before it gets tore apart.

 

If you have any sort of problem that causes low compression in one cylinder, disable the injection so the engine can't start, then crank the starter. You should be able to hear a weak cylinder while cranking.

 

Valve probably not burnt but has a dropped valve seat.

 

I think I'd check the valve gaps. If one is way out of wack...

 

i did this also. they all were pretty close. i changed all 6 injectors myself and did valve set. i still have sound and white smoke from exhaust.no air or smoke coming out of oil fill cap hole?
