99% sure it's 1 or more injectors leaking.
Making oil only comes from fuel (if it's not coolant which would be evident by the oil colored milkshake) and hard start when cold is a classic example of injectors not building pressure as quickly as they should either due to returning too much fuel or leaking, which is likely your case.
You could do an injector kill test and isolate the bad one(s), or if you're over 100kmi on original injectors and stock filtration just bite it and get 6 new ones headed your way.
Bad news is that "new" re-man injectors are around $400 a piece. Good news is that is $800 less than a Dmax and changing them is MUCH easier.

I'll throw a plug for TC Diesel again. After an exhausting search, they had the best price for what I felt was the best injector value. Great service too.

You'll understand once you start looking. There is literally about 50 options you could go with for injectors.

Wouldnt i have smoke or anything if an injector was leaking ? Or notice a misfire or anything there is no sign of a vibration or anything so i dont no how a injector cancel test would show anything?

Good point. You'd think there would be smoke if it was leaking by the tips. It can leak into the head too.
Fuel only gets into the engine through the injectors/transfer tubes so if its making oil its coming from there.

Don't Drive your truck if it is making oil...it takes surprising little fuel in the oil to destroy the motor.

Send in an oil sample. That's just $25 and you'll know what you need to know ... Takes about a week and a half from when you drop it in the mailbox.
