Bucking while accelerating?? Help

Hi All
I have an 05 with the auto it has about 11000miles on it.
It was about 40 degrees out the other morning and I jumped in my truck to go to work. I had it plugged in and I let it warm up for a few minutes with the cruise control hi idle. So I take off and slowly accelerate to 35 and it feels like the truck has a bad miss or something. I thought well I'll see if I can clean it out a little. I go on the freeway at about 80-85 for about 20 miles and turn around. On the was back the truck is completely warm and it starts doing this again at freeway speeds but worse. I went and put some fresh diesel in it from mobil after I added a lot of power service kleen. I'm driving around today and it does it again. Driving along and it starts bucking or missing again? Any ideas. I drained the water out of the fuel at everyfill up. Could it be a bad batch of Diesel. Thanks in advance.

No check engine light?

Most likely misfire.

Torque converter maybe, but sounds like misfire.

Did all of the 05's get the lift pump in the tank? My 04.5 does this at 0 fuel pressure on level 2 and 3 of the EZ but I have the useless lift pump on the filter housing. FASS is next.

If you are draining water out after every fill up something is very wrong, there should not be that much water in there at anytime. draining the canister after each fill up is way overkill, i drain mine only when i change the filter at 15000 miles and have never seen any water. Is the wif light comming on? Just a thought but maby what is happening is you are draining the canister completely and getting air in the system.

The first thing I would do would be a new fuel filter .

I replaced the fuel filter at about 9000 miles. I have about 10900 now. There is no check engine light on. I do drain the fuel filter almost every fillup. Its just straight diesel. This all just started happening within the last week or so. Say maybe 200 miles. I may just take it to the *******, its still under warranty so I'll let them deal with it.

Very little dirt will not come out of filter when you open the water drain and all it takes is one bad tank of fuel to clog it , I would still start with filter .It really sounds like a fuel problem to me , good luck and I hope you get it figured out .
