Very strange sound/vibration while accelerating
My truck has a very strange boom boom sound/vibration when I accelerate.
It gets louder the more I step on throttle, not when coasting or on release, and it gets very loud and very noticeable.
It's is not coming from front drivetrain, or rear drivetrain.
It feels like from transmission or TC area.
Can the engine mounts go bad (they look very simple) ? I thought about exhaust , but i just installed a new 4" turbo back and didn't change a thing.

Sounds like the dreaded torque converter clutch is slipping, but I'm a manual trans guy, maybe the auto trans guys could chime in?
