Broke down....help! Possible Bully Dog Problem!

I turned the motor off to order food and when it started back it ran for 2 sec and shut off. Cycled key and it did the same thing 2 other times and now wont start at all. I was running trip dog with cl ver 3.3.0 and tried to uninstall program and it says vin mismatch. I am getting fuel to canister with fuelfilter but other than that i have no idea. ANY IDEAS would be appreciated

I dont see how the triple dog can hurt anythig when he was not trying to change anything in the drive thru. it it ran and then died and then did it a few more times I would look at the injection pump or injetors first. if bullydog killed his ecm the truck would not have fired back up at all

I assume there is no CEL or codes? I know when I fried my ECM with a downloader it just went blank after a key cycle, no running. Also if you are getting FP through the filter that means the ECM is commanding the fuel pump to come on. I am with Rpainter on this one, I dont think the Bully fried it and it is probably something else. Do you know how to read the codes through the dash?

i have only had the cl program for a week and my outlook has been acting up for about a year. i can toggle the switch to off, performance or extreme and it may or maybot change at the time. it might change in a few minutes or when i restart the truck and sometime i can toggle the outlook up and down a couple of times and it will finally change. i did have it turned up just a few min b4 it dies blowing smoke on a duramax

More than likely going to have to reprogram/replace the ECM (dealer), sorry to say. FYI, most programmers can/will erase/burn up ECM's or reset key counts. You can try recovery s/w from BD, but chances are, your going to have to visit a dealer.

A friend of mine had the exact same thing happen to him, the shop that sold it to him got the bullydog off of it and all was well. GOOD LUCK
