Exclamation Brakes sticking

I recently posted about having a sticky caliper. I did a complete front end brake job new pads, rotors, calipers, and I even re-did the brake lines on the front end. I did the lines because some folks said they may have been breaking down on the inside causing the calipers to hang up and not release. I also flushed and refilled the system. Anyways I am still having the problem. It's not as often now but it still occurs. I will let off the brake pedal and they wont release until I hit the accelerator or hit the brakes again. Does any one have any ideas on what I can replace now. This truck has really started nickle and dimeing me since about 100,000 miles. Hopefully, someone has had this problem. This is one of my main work trucks and I really can't afford to be pulling 10,000 pounds and the brakes not release. I appreciate the help.

i had the same problem on my chevy 6.2. It ended up being the return line from the hydroboost de-laminating inside and causing a blockage. I changed both calipers, new hyroboost, new fluid and all it turned out was a $3 hose.

oh boy this sounds like it could be a lot of trial and error process, i don't know if it's coincidence or not but the problem seems to be worse in wet weather. I notice it a lot more frequently. I take my foot of the brake and then I feel it release a second or two later

I would start with the return line from the booster to the pump, its the cheapest to fix and it was the problem with mine. If the return is blocked, the pedal will return very slowly and always keep some pressure in the master cylinder. also there may be a piece of debris in the return line at the pump inlet. I never found the critter that was the problem but I did slice open the hose hoping to see a flap of somesort. When I removed the hose off the pump, alot of fluid washed out so there might have been a blockage but it works fine now. wish I did this fix first.

if it were the return line, that would mean ALL 4 brakes would have the same symptom,...correct?

well i assume if you did new calipers you would of greased the slider pins but my rears were sticking and the two lower slider pins were dry and seized up. just another cheap easy thing to check...
