Brake Pads
This may sound strange, but I actually prefer the cheapest ones I can buy at the parts store. This may just be in my head - but it seems like the cheaper ones are softer - yes, they wear out quicker, but they sure seem to stop better. Like I said though.... it may just be in my mind.

I got a 100k miles out of original pads and my trucks been lifted since it had 30 miles on it. I just did brakes and went with OEM pads and not the valuline. mopar or nothing for me too
i have run , oem, performance friction, bendix and autozone severe duty.
The autozone out braked all the other pads cold hands down and hot they were head and shoulders above all the pads but the performance friction which they were equal too. but the performance friction had very poor cold braking performance. I run a lot of miles pulling a 8000 lb trailer in hills and this has been my finding brake wise.
