Brake & ABS Light on after Brake/Hub Job

I've got a 2004 Ram 2500 5.9 CTD and I just did new calipers, pads, rotors and front wheel hubs. Also did a complete fluid flush and topped her off with fresh fluid. The wheel hubs came with new speed sensors. After installation, the ABS and Brake lights on my cluster are illuminated. I checked the connections on the wheel sensors and the one of the passenger side seemed to have pushed one of the pins in the female/truckside ABS connector out the back of the connector. I massaged the pins and am still working on getting the connector to slip together correctly without displacing the female end of the pin from the truckside connector. When I found this issue, I figured I had located the cause of my ABS & Brake lights. To test my theory, I jumped the ABS sensor wires to the connector hoping that the ABS & Brake light would go out but they didn't. I then measured the Ohm resistance in the ABS sensors. Right side was 1100 and left was 1103 which is perfectly in range from my research. The speedometer is still working fine so I don't think it has anything to do with the rear wheel speed sensor. I disconnected the batteries and reconnected them but still have the lights.. :-/

I checked the DTCs and the cluster flashed: C Code and then 2b 06 and then 00 00. I have the Factory Service Manual and don't see a 2b code listed in there...

I'm just puzzled as to why this is happening. Any input would be appreciated.

I’m not an expert in this situation but I had a similar occurance. I forgot to connect it up though

my light didn’t go out until I drove it a bit. In my case I figured it needs some signal before it would reset

have you tried driving it after your fix?

Turns out that one of the brand new ABS sensors that came with my new hubs was bad. I bought another pair of sensors on eBay for $20 shipped, swapped one in and voila! Problem solved. I also bought a Blue Driver OBDII diagnostic tool which is super cool. It pulled the ABS codes which helped diagnose the problem.
