Question boost leak?

For a while now ive been hearing a different sound coming from my turbo. Ive heard a boost leak can sound like a vacuum cleaner under your hood and thats the best description of the sound. When I run my smarty on #2 and floor it from a stop I can only reach about 25 psi of boost and as my RPMs rise my boost is actually going down. when I roll into the throttle at 35mph I can hit about 29 psi and the boost rises with the RPMs. The noise seems to be boost related since i can start hearing it at about 20 psi. If I get on the throttle hard I can see EGTs as high as 1300 degrees, and I think they would go higher if I dont let off. Does this seem normal? With an intake, 5 inch exhaust and the smarty at its lowest setting I seem to be hitting some pretty high EGTs. By the way I also have a banks big head waistgate actuator. Thanks in advance.

Boost leaks usually make hissing sounds. Check your Banks high ram might be coming from where it bolts to the manifold or where your CAC hose goes to it.
