Boost Cutout Question

I have a head scratcher to throw out to the throbbing brain....

I noticed today that when I started from a green light accelerating until my boost got to 25psi and it cut out back to 0 and then I am able to accelerate again. It seems pretty consistent that when I accelerate to pass for from dead stop, get to about 25psi and it cuts out.

Any ideas?

OK, some more info. If I 1/2 pedal accelerate I can get normal boost to about 32 psi until it shifts gears no problem. Problem only occurs when I hammer down to pass or jump off of a red light quickly.

Sounds like the wastegate is sticking open. Mine did the same thing for a couple of weeks till I clamped off the wastegate. Maybe try pulling off the boost fooler to see if its seending the wrong signal to the ECM. May also be the LP not seending enough fuel to get boost up. Since this only happens during WOT. How many miles on the truck?

Yeah I meant to run a test last night w/out the boost fooler but got side tracked. Truck has 70K but 30k of those registered miles was with 33" tires and th computer was setup for 35's for whatever that is worth.

Your LP may very well be on the verge of exiting. Can you get ahold of a fule pressure gauge to check idle and WOT runs?
