Bolt Torque list
Bolt Torque list
Greetings all - This is a first for me.
I'm going to do the injector inspection tomorrow and was wondering if anyone has a list of the bolts that will be removed in the process, and what there torque poundage is for reassembly. I figure that I will remove the following:
1. Fuel Rail 4 hold down bolts; 3 bolts on the rail
2. Remove Fuel line from CP3
3. Valve Cover bolts
4. Remove feed tubes - and the retaining nut *I don;t have Snap on J-149
5. Valve Cover Gasket with intagrated wire- * Can I reuse it...?
6. Exhaust Rocker Arms
7. Remove Valve bridge
8. remove Injector bolts
Is there anything I'm missing here?
And as stated what should all these bolts be torqued to when i reassemble...?
Please advise if you know the torque specification and your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Now - Back to your regular programming...!

I got a new valve cover gasket with the integrated wiring harness. And obtained two reman injectors and installed the new injectors. So it's going good so far. Just need to torque all the bolts down to spec and waiting for the Rail injector rail sensor and I'll be back on the road.
I have gone through a number of your posts trying to figure out what year truck you have so I can try to help you but if you ever said it, I can't find it.
