Block Heater?
Just plug it in and carefully listen on the passenger side in the wheel well. After a few seconds you can usually hear the sound of water heating up. If that doesn't work, after it is completly cool, plug it in and after a few minutes reach up and feel the block heater area. should be warm.
Purposely leave it unplugged one night, then see how long your wait to start light stays lit the next morning.
Plug it in the next night, and again, see how long your wait to start light stays lit the next morning.
Should be a significant difference.
