Bilstien Shocks

I have about 54,000 miles on my truck with the stock shocks still on. I also have a leveling kit on. If I put new bilstien shocks on how much of a difference am I going to notice if any, particularly on washboards as the road to my house is covered in them?

I've had them on my 04 4x4 quadcab for about 5K miles and love 'em. A definite noticeable improvement.

Installed fronts last night. I have to do the back today. I'll post how I like them - won't be able to drive the truck until tonight after I finish installing my Pacbrake get my airbox reworked.

I've had 5100s on for about two years or so. For washboard or studder bumps they are rough. These shocks keep the tires on the road.

I'm stock height and these are the best shocks that I have tried yet. The Rancho's, Monroe's etc do not compare.

Get in touch with Sean at Lorenz Industries. That's where I got mine from.

I have the 5100's also. I did notice an improvement over stock that I didn't expect. Plus they are great looking too. They look like stainless steel. I am not sure whoever got theirs for $200 are the same as mine. I am a dealer and get them pretty darn cheap and I can't get all 4 for that. And I had to wait 3 months last year for them too get here as they were out and were not building any at the time I ordered them. They were on national backorder. But worth the wait I must say.

Do you have the "yellow and blue" or the 5100's? I was thinking of going with Rancho's thinking the Bilstiens would be too firm.

Just got mine on today and went for a drive. All I can say, is that our trucks should come with them from the factory - much better ride than the OEM crap.

I could not agree more. How do you like the rears Festus? I only installed the fronts. Are they to rough in the back?
