As far as replacement for the filter in the pan, any manufacturer will do. I prefer mopar though since you can get them pretty cheap at genosgarage.com and it's the oem part. But honestly it's a crapshoot, the efficiency of the pan filter is so low that it's more like a screen than a filter, it's just designed to keep the big stuff out. If you really want a good filter I would look at installing an aftermarket bypass filter, such as the one from dieselsite.com. I've read good reviews on that so far.
