Battery life?

I have an 03 ctd and was wondering what the life expectancy of these batteries is. My truck has been relatively trouble free and I like to stay on top of the maintenance.

5-7 years easy as long as you don't ever kill them dead.

I'm on my factory batteries with some serious cold weather starting in Montana and Alaska and hot temps in the high 90's/low 100's and they are still going strong more than 5 years since I bought the truck.

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Clean battery terminals and check them individually. AT their age, I suggest replacing both and finding another use for the remaining good battery. If both still check good, keep on trucking.
