my 2005 with 250,000 miles has got me worried. occasionally after a lengthy idle the engine will make a rapping noise that sounds like someone banging on a hollow pipe. This lasts for a second or two, bang, bang, bang,bang, bang, then its quiet and idles normally. Another new occurance is sometimes when you let the clutch out to go in first gear the engine will falter as if its going to stall, push the clutch in and it clears up and idles normally. any fresh ideas are appreciated.
