I fire up the AC and it sounds like I've got a deep rod knock and some one is playing dice in there on top of the ususal diesel noise. Doesn't do it if the AC is not on. Anyone have an experience like this? If it's somethin real easy I may do it myself, otherwise it'll be back to the dealer in precisely 2 weeks after I picked it up....

 

I thought you said you were going to bed I really have no clue what the noise could be, I just had to give you crap for being up!

Got sidetracked....threw this on here and went to bed last nite...

 

Figured out what the noise was. Apparently something came loose in the AC compressor, compressor is shot and one of the lines plugged, dealer should have the parts tomorrow (7-22) hopefully. Must have been bad from the get go, truck only had 2900 miles on it when I dropped it off, and had driven about the last 300 w/no AC. Been up around 90 and super humid here lately.
