Axle rating
Anyone know what the maximum axle weight rating on an 06 CTD Megacab 2500 4x4 would be (rear). It thought it was the 6010lbs. GAWR on the door sticker, however after reading it carefully it is 6010lbs. with my tire and rim combination. What I really would like to know is what is the axle alone? If I go to a set of tires and rims that will take 8,000lbs., will the axle take it.
