I have an 07 4x4, auto trans has always ran good. I drove downtown and slowed down to cross some railroad tracks, when I went to accelerate, the trans would not shift out of 1st. I drove about 2 blocks and the trans light came on. I had read several posts about changing solenoid and transducer,so I did. Trans will still not shift out of 1st and trans light comes on in just a minute or two of driving. Reverse works ok, engine runs fine, good acceleration, I have ran rpms up and let off and still will not shift. I have tried shifting manually and tow on and off. Have read about speed sensor??? Any suggestion would be appreciated

Get the codes pulle3d so you know for sure what the problem indicates. The speed sensor can cause that but there are other things that have the same symptoms.
