These articles seem to enforce the need for bypass filtration and nail down the fact that the stratapore filters are most needed. Very good info. thanks for the links!

I agree woodrep, seems that bypass filtration IS a must and also the use of a StrataPore filter.

THANKS tauberson for the links, good reads to say the least. Opens up even more cans of worms in the oil and filtration arguments. One thing IS for sure, if a dealership were to throw one of their 'warranty fits' over having a bypass filtrations system on your truck, you would certainly have some ammunition to fight with considering both of these links information.

Glad I installed the bypass filter, it made sense to do so, now it surely makes sense.
