A few questions

I have a 2004 235 hp cali truck auto std cab no muffler and an S&B intake, my question is if i but a programer say 100hp like the smarty i would want to run it without any added timing and if i run it on the 100 horse settin i would have a 335 hp truck which is alittle more than the other non cali truck of 325 hp my question is will my tranny hold this? Its the same tranny in the rest of the trucks right? what did they do to the califonia truck so they are only 235 hp? i am putting gauges in the truck but what do you guys think do i want added timing or not? added timing would make it run hotter woulndt it? Am i right or wrong or just stupid for asking? lemme here it haha

Your tranny will hold it for a little while, but it depends on how hard you treat your truck. I have put my programmer on 100hp once and just under medium throttle i got about 13% slip. I never use my programmer above lvl 3 until i get my new tranny. People run these chips with a stock tranny but it will not hold out for long.

A little bit of timeing isnt going to do much harm to your truck, but if you put too much, you will noticed your truck running rough.
