I put on a Magnaflow and it sounds deeper and still refined. The truck is still quiet until I open it up. LOVE MY TRUCK!

Did the muffler removal show any performance gain? Or is it just noise?

How about straight pipe and a drop in K&N? Would that yield any gain?

Re:Anyone straightpiped or new high flow muffled?

the straight pipe was done purely for sound as Im a muscle car nut....however I did notice that the engine seems to rev quicker and it seems to pull quicker in third gear n up...wont use a k&n as they need to be dirty to filter better...Ill wait for a good paper filter and cold air kit...Im lucky to live in vegas as diesel dynamics is just down the street and as soon as I can afford it Ill start bombing it...My next door neighbor has the identical truck as mine I think he's gonna bomb his before I do...
