I've got the Superlift part but haven't tried to stack a leveling kit on it. From what I understand, the trailering arms or trac bars aren't long enough for the extra two inches of lift and it apparently creates quite the alignment problems and lots of bump steer too.

I'd love to get the extra two inches of lift too but I don't want to risk it. Steering would likely be an issue too. Full Throttle and Whiplash have 10 inch kits but I have yet to talk to anyone that is happy with their 10 inch kit. I guess too many issues, steering being the most common that I've heard.

I have talked to Superlift and Skyjacker and both of them claim to have an 8 incher of the drawing board but it's anyone's guess as to when that might become a reality.

I guess we have to watch and wait. Pics of my truck are in my gallery.

Chad.

Would not work right. the geometry of the lift would be off. Right now you would have to go 6" with a 2" body or up to 10".

I am sure an 8" will come eventually.

The front control arm's are designed for the specific amount of lift, they correct the axle angle for drivshaft and steering issues. Your idea would work if you knew exactly what lenght front control arms would be needed, but your current ones wouldn't cut it...
