Any1 add PROHEAT or ESPAR heaters to their rams?

Ive seen lots on semi trucks but haas any1 added a diesel heater to their rams. what it does is circulates and warms engine coolant. it runs on diesel. any pics or installation photos would be appreciated. thanks

I have a Espar. Up in our winters I would not be without it. Especially when the temperature really starts to dip.

Proheat is too large for the 5.9L, it is meant for 15L engines, but the espar & webasto are just right for the 5.9, I am also in Alberta. I put a webasto on my truck since we sell them were I work. When its -40F or C, coolant temp is around 100F, so alot better then a block heater could ever do, and sometimes truck is no where a current bush. The blue heat is pretty cool, uses the same webasto heater, but turns on the cab fan blows warm air into the cab, think they also have a remote, you can also get a timer too.

han solo - Just curious, what's the install time on one of these?

04ctd - what we're talking about is not even a close cousin to the block heater. These preheat the cab as well, and will get the engine to 175 degrees. Block heater won't even begin to go there when it's 45 below out.

What is the Blue heat running for cost? How difficult is it to install?
I've just been running a recirculating block heater I bought from an Ag parts shop. Put a timer and plug it in. Still does not cure the lack of current bush.

I know of quite a few people/companies that have them here...Biggest complaint is the elements going out, an the range of the remote is pittifull (remotes dont transmit well in cold) to say the least. One guy I know lets his run as he drives to work...its all down hill to work, truck won't warm up...but does fine without it on way home.
