any problems with the 06

Well to make a long story short my 03 with the 12v caught fire and burned to the ground. Found a loaded 06 for a real good price, but i thought i would check and see if their where any complzaints as far as drive train and stuff. I'm a little leary since i had major problems with the 07 with 5.9 i had bought brand new. any info would be nice thanks

My truck just rolled over 60,000 miles and I have not had any problems with it other than a few recall issues and the CP3 weeps a little. So I say go for it.

I have half the mileage as MRoman and I have had NO real problems. Couple recalls, needed a flash or two which solved the 'no real problems'. I am very pleased/satisfied with my truck, would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Same here. No problems. Just like the rest. A couple of flashes, minor interior issues like door speaker and winshield cowling. Thats it. Perfect truck. Love it.

I've had tons of stuff, but I think it's just a lemon issue and not 06's in general.

The only significant issue I've had is the trans hunting 1-2 at 15-20mph. Warranty issue resolved it.

Really like the Jake working with the auto trans. Man trans the work better (more gears).

Pretty much trouble free.

aw bout 40k here.

i'd say they are Ok.

A MEGA is what you want, if you can find one.

my wife sat in the back seat, had kid in seat beside her, and changed the diaper & all her clothes today. it's NICE having that much secure space.

I haven't had any major issues, but I also have low miles and I am not pulling even close to your weight is on a daily basis... Are you planning on hot-shotting in the truck? If so, hopefully someone else on here that hot-shots on a regular basis wih an 06 can chime in on their experiences.

31K here with no major issues. CP3 weeps a little when cold but dealer replaced with no questions. Small coolant leak (loose clamp) and some very minor interior issues but all has been taken car of under warranty. Was hard to shift from park but delare replaced valve body and now it is smooth as glass, isolated issue and dealer had never seen that before.

This is my first Dodge and I am impressed with how well it has been so far, runs strong, gets good fuel economy and is fun to drive.
