I also had auto tranny problems at 37 k miles. Right out of warranty and they would not cover it. I had it rebuilt and just replaced it with a ATS tranny. I love the ATS, but I really wish that the automakers would build something that can handle even the stock power. My truck was stock at the time I needed the first rebuild.

Jack<br><br>His truck was, and still is stock at this time. HE is just sad about it all.<br><br>He tows a pretty good size horse trailer loaded heavy.<br><br>Dodge has never given him a hassle, but it is a hassle, as you might know, to get 3 transmissions replaced :-(<br><br>But, after looking at the 2003, and the 6 speed, and the power pedals (which would serve for his 4"9" wife!)<br><br>He is now reconsidering, if he can talk the CFO into it<br><br>He wants the power to pull the horses around, but wants his wife to be able to drive it, as he is a school admin. guy and she shows horses.<br><br>Hunter
