Another code question P0630 after dealer work done

Got truck back Monday late AM after injector failure. Had to take back foir oil change Tuesday am as it was still mostly diesel fuel and a little oil. Happend to check key off & on 3 times and got code P0630, Vin Mismatch or something like that. Dealer said it will go away and today is Friday still there. I am assuming (and yes I know the defination of assume) that the dealer did another screw up.

Question they said it's OK and nothing they can do, it will go away. How do I get this repaired now. Is it a problem? will it create problems later? Had to argue for 1/2 hour tuesday to get them to re-change oil and I didn't want it in there but had to pay for it out of pocket. Doubt I can get them to re-repair this now.

Thanks for any ideas.

Often when a flash update is done you can get that code as it takes one controller off the bus. Sometimes you have to go back in after the update and "flush" all the erronious dtc's.....or just ship it because it really has no bearing on performance. No light....no worry. The three key thing has just given you something to worry about.

Thanks Jbody, As it seems per your post it's nothing to cause any problem I used my Harbor Freight code scanner and flushed it this am. Like I have said, after all the screw ups lately on my truck guess I'm just getting quite paranoid and don't want another episode of being stranded or without my truck.

Thanks for the info.
