Another #4 Injector line failure!

3 years ago my #4 line cracked. I replaced it with the Mopar upgraded part. It "Seemed" to be a much better design. Well that one cracked on Saturday while driving home.
Today I go to the dealer since nobody in town stocks them and find that they have been upgraded AGAIN!! This new one does not use the bolt together isolator now. Just a tightly wrapped rubber piece over the tube. Nothing to check as far as bolts coming loose now. I will also be carrying a spare!!
Newest on bottom, first upgrade in the middle, my original OEM on top

My replacement is the bottom one. My stock one was still fine after 55K.
I re-tightened them all every year from new.

I replaced my #4 with the "latest and greatest" before the original one cracked. I wonder if anyone has had a problem with this upgraded version.

I wonder too! I'm definitely going to be buying a spare this time. I don't care how latest and greatest it is!!

My original #4 line lasted about 75kmi before leaking. Got another 55k on the replacement one now. Since theres a spare and 5/8 wrench behind the seat now, it'll probably last forever! knock on wood.
