Long story short:

New truck in Jan '05. 5 days after I had it, check engine light comes on and zi check code and it is temp sensor code (0514). Take it in they clkean sensor and send me on my way. 3 days later it happensd again. Take it back and they replace the sensor. No problem for the past 11 months.

Check engine light again on Tuesday. They check it out and say it needed the batt cables tightened. Now again today it goes off again. This time they can;t get it to go away and reset??? Since the sensor was already replaced, they kept truck overnight to call STAR tomorrow AM for advice???

What advice can be given on something like this???? Another sensor???

This is 4 trips to dealer for same problem. Granted it has been 11 months for all 4 visits, but it has been the SAME problem.

What's going on with these sensors???????????????????

 

I have the same prob but with a diff code.
Mine is a P0191 fuel pressure sensor
Had the sensor replaced about three weeks ago and last week the code came up again.
DC has had several of these and havent figured out a fixit yet.
Trucks been back three times. First time they cleared the code and ordered the sensor. Second they replaced the sensor, third they cleared the code and checked everything out.
Waiting for a call from DC regarding the repair.
