Amsoil motor oil question?

I was talking with a friend of mine today who's in his late 50s and has driven Dodge diesels his entire life. His opinion on any synthetic motor oil was that sometimes you can get a batch that isn't the weight is says it is. Due mostly to the fact that it is manmade and that means room for error. He and his entire family use Rotella. How valid is his point. Please no arguing or flaming.

I just want to learn as much as I can to make an educated decision on the amsoil 15w40.

thanks for the input

Jamie

You could say the same about dino oil. It's man-made and packaged too.

no more an issue then a doctor operating on the wrong knee cap or even taking off a leg instead of giving a knee replacement... or the US Goverment making a mistake...

I would take my changes with AMSOIL
