acceleration shutter
My truck also does this upon take off. It does it considerably worse when towing the boat. I figured it was the aggressive tread pattern on my mud tires. Where exactly do they shim to eliminate this problem?
the dealer found a bad # 1 injector and replaced it, seemed to think that was the problem. NOT
Then they found some type a flash to install said they thought that would do it NOT
Back again yesterday, just called and said they are going to install new drive shaft from transfer case back in the morning (not in stock) , they think (and so do i ) that will remedy the problem.
Let ya know.
PS. i now have 101000 on it and they are going to warrant it with my Chrysler extended warranty

I am sure the reason the warrenty is covering it is because it was a problem that had been being addressed for quite a while prior to going over the 100000 mile mark
Got it back---shutter is gone--Chrysler Warranty paid for it. I had to pay another 100.00 deductible that i had paid previously for attempts they made that didn't work but not going to make issue of it and get dealer irritated.
Good service dealers seem to be far and few between. Driving an extra 50 miles to get serviced at this dealer.
