You should still have a thermistor, the newer trucks are easier to get to. They plug into a air box without disassembly, behind the glove box. IDK if it will fix your problem, but it does control the compressor.

I jumped power to compressor from the battery and charged with 134a.
Today I took it to local shop and he discovered a ground short, so far. He had to push my truck to the side and he agreed to trace the short later. I believe nhe will find tipm is the source of short.

Just to finish

the high pressure ground was not properly working. A in depth check revealed the tipm was the problem with the ground. Instead of replacing tipm I connected a additional ground to the ground wire coming from the high pressure switch. Also a 3 amp fuse was placed inline. The clutch engages and cold air at last

My blend door(s) are broken but my AC was still working until yesterday when the idiot light is on, but no compressor engage. Do you know if the door actuator(s) positions have any effect on the ECM/TIPM wrt the clutch control? I did a quick pressure test and static pressure is OK in the system? Any help would be appreciated. Dave

Did you jumper the clutch by removing the relay in the Fuse/Relay box or....

I have seen this mentioned before...How do you reset the TIPM? 2006, Cummings.

Thank you for the details.

Thks. I have located a manual with wiring diagrams and will follow your advice.
Where is the Low Pressure Switch on a 5.9D?
can i safely jumper it to test?
Does it Switch Ground or 12vdc?

Fuses and Relays: Check the fuse and relay for the AC system. If either is bad, the compressor won’t get power.

AC Pressure Switch: The pressure switch could be faulty. If it’s not reading the system pressure correctly, it won’t allow the compressor to engage.

Wiring: Inspect the wiring to the compressor. Look for any breaks, loose connections, or corrosion.

AC Control Module: The AC control module might be malfunctioning. It’s rare, but it can happen.

Check these components first. If everything seems okay, the problem might be with the control module or the compressor clutch itself.
