AC Compressor not engaging

I have a 2006 Dodge 3500 and the AC compressor clutch is not engaging. Freon is good, no power to compressor. Any ideas?

A/C Clutch power from TIPM tripped to A/C clutch.
Clutch, wirings from TIPM to clutch or TIPM were the issues.
TIPM may be reset by dealer.

Look at the wiring on the back of the compressor, it's been known to chafe and break.

Check the low pressure switch by unplugging it and jumpering the plug with a paper clip. If the compressor starts, the switch is bad.

Start with the cheapest stuff first.

There was no low pressure switch on the system. Instead there was a pressure transducer on the high side.
ECM monitors the pressure for clutch control.

There are three wires to sensor:
5V supply, AC Pressure Signal and Sensor Ground.
Don't know whether shorting the pressure signal to ground would fool the ECM to turn on the clutch.

From the 3 that i have fixed for friends to me they have a clutch problem, put power directly to the lead at the clutch, if it does nothing then all you need is 100 on ebay and and about 1.5 hours, simple job to replace if you just undo 2 comp bolts to tilt the comp down a little for easy removal of clutch.

Just set up the new clutch tight with the shims they come with, no drag just tight.
Air parts inc 352-732-0720 hope leaving this is ok.

Some clutch problem may trip the TIPM and hence no power to clutch and TIPM needs to be reset.

I have replaced expansion valve, high pressure, clutch coil, and had the truck flashed. The ac clutch will engage with power from a power wire straight from battery to clutch coil. Is tipm a different component that is not reset when it is flashed?

I replaced EVERYTHING on my 06, least I thought.
When i found out the thermistor on the evaporator was bad.
$56 from the dealer and cold A/C.

*I had to disconnect the battery cables after replacement.
I actually have the thermistor hanging outside the air box.

first thank you for replying. Now I must apologize for asking this question on 3rd gen truck forum. My truck is 2011 2500 Cummins. Are you familiar with 4th gen? Is ac the same design?
