Exclamation ABS and Brake lights on

Well I tried to search for this but couldn't find anything( my search skills may not be up to par).

I run a 03 3500 SLT 4x4 quad cab long box SRW.

My wife went to visit her folks and got a few miles down the road and the ABS and Brake lights both came on. She called and I told her to continune on as it probably wasn't very serious. Well she made the trip just fine with no problems. So the truck is home now and I have drove it. Nothing seems different on the pedal or in the way the truck handles.

I pulled the codes with the on\off 3 times method and got a battery temp sensor code and a fan speed low relay code. Nothing to do with the braking system. I pulled the instrument cluster codes and got no codes there.

I pulled the battery cables off for 20 minutes to see if the code would reset but the lights are still on.

Any other ideas?? Any one run into this problem??

Check your grounds at the Fender wells that come off of the ABS Module. Tighten all that need it. I had this happen to me on my 03!! If that is not the case then check the rear differental sensor. This is another problem that is a regular occurance. Also check the grounds at the rear of the truck!!

PS: Your Search should had pulled up allllllllllllllllllllooooooooooooootttttttttttt of information about this problem???????

Have you check the silly stuff first. Such as brake fluid level and brake fluid sensor. ABS fuses. If it was a speed sensor it would normally go out after clearing the codes and come back on after a very short drive. It sounds like it is not making through the self test before it kicks the light on.
