AAM--old news.
Took the truck in for the ps hose replacement today. I also had them take care of the two recalls. Asked them to check the fluid level in the rear end...btw, thanks for the information passed along by you folks 'cause if it weren't for you, I would not have given it a second thought.
Anyhow, Randy, the only dealer mechanic who works on the Cummins that I trust came and said everything was taken care of. Then, he tells me that he could not find any leaks around the rear end but that it was only 3/4 full.
He topped it off with synthetic, the same stuff AAM uses.
