Just a few things! You might need to get new lower control arm bolts in the front! The cam ones! I tried to take mine out for a lift and they where frozen in the bushing and I need to cut them! Also, I've heard from alot of forum users the pitman arm is a bi-och to take off even with a puller! I've even read that they have broken pullers and desroyed steering boxes! Either way good luck sir!

I just put a 6" lift on mine and had to cut the pitman arm of with a recip saw. I tried to heat it, beat it nothing worked so since I had a new one I cut it down the side, got it glowing hot and cooled it with cold water and they did the trick finally. That is 2 that I have had to take off that way. But you torch them to 225lbs, so that is problay why

Good luck

I have heard that you might need a transfer case reindexing ring. basically it will lower your front driveline angle by twisting the transfer case like 30 degrees. The only way to see if you need it is to see if it grinds when you take off for the first time. They are about 250 - 300 dollars, that is about all that i can think of.

Good luck

With a true 6" lift, I don't see how you can get away w/o an indexing ring and still have enough caster in the axle.

Got a BDS on my '07 with no issues at all!! Do the long arm kit to make the ride even better... ProComp now makes a true 6" kit but my BDS kit rocks.
I did put in the BDS transfer case drop bracket but took it out because it did all kinds of stupid things due to the angle drop of the engine, tranny and transfer case. The clocking ring from Superlift would be the way to go if you have issues but I don't....

Have fun with the upper passenger side control arm frame bolt. Had to drop my whole exhaust to get it out. 1 bolt, 3 hours

Yeah - that's just retarded!

Installing adjustable control arms this month - gonna try real hard to figure out a better way around that dang bolt!
