I have a 06 1-ton 4x4 and I need to know what oil to put in the darn thing?The dealer says mopar atf+4 but I was told by someone else to use sychromesh oil...can anyone give me their advice?

 

The NV5600 in my truck, I run Synchromesh. The G56 in your truck may reqiure something else.

 

THE G-56 in your truck DOES IN FACT take ATF+4!!!! 6 quarts!! NV5600's took syncromesh, when you drain your trans you will see the bright RED fluid. I personally put AMSOIL ATF in mine and it shifts way better than the MOPAR ATF4!!
