Exclamation 6 spd fluid capacity?

Does anyone know how much fluid the 6spd holds? is it just fill it until it starts pouring back out, and if so, about how much? I don't want to buy to little and then be stuck ya know

Buy 5 quarts; you'll have half a quart or so left over. Yep, stop filling when it comes out the fill hole.

BTW, don't drain it before you've verified you can remove the fill plug (17mm hex).

No drain plug. Just pull the bottom bolt on the driver's side PTO cover.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, I'd recommend pulling the cover, so you can reach into the bottom of the case to get the magnet out to clean it. Mine had a bunch of metal mush. (Photo in my gallery).

RTV sealant to put the cover back on. Locktite thread sealant on bolts.
